Measurement Guide Recommendation:

For Runner Carpets (hinged bracket): allow approx.4"(10cm) over carpet width ie.2"(5cm) each side.
For Fitted Carpet (front fix bracket): the rod should come in approx.2"(5cm) from the wall. ie.4"(10cm) less than the overall width of the stair.

Blacksmith range of black wrought iron stair rods designed by Northumbrian Blacksmith Rodney Brittain. Each rod is individually shaped from a ½" (12mm) solid bar. These rods are hand made to stock lengths, and are ideal for runners and fitted carpets - tip to tip measurement required.
