Measurement Guide Recommendation:

For Runner Carpets (hinged bracket): allow approx. 4 inch (10cm) over carpet width ie. 2 inch (5cm) each side.
For Fitted Carpet (front fix bracket): the rod should come in approx. 2 inch (5cm) from the wall. ie. 4 inch (10cm) less than the overall width of the stair.

Each rod is individually shaped from a ½ inch (12mm) solid steel bar, then given a protective coating to prevent rust. Ideal for runners and fitted carpets. These rods are hand made to stock lengths, and are ideal for runners and fitted carpets - tip to tip measurement required.
